- Modern smooth wall or traditional corrugated wall. Both these designs are strong and stylish and are made to last. The method of
rotomolding ensures even distribution of polyethylene to eliminate any weak spots as well as an even wall thickness for strength.
- Food grade quality. This meets with the Australian standards AS4020 covering any contact with food and AS2070 covering contact with water. The products used are virgin polyethylene and are very safe to use. The tank will not taste or smell as the poly will not react with water.
- UV protection is a must with any polytank that is sold on the Australian market – and it should be a priority in your purchasing decision. You can be assured that our polytanks have used Ultra UV polyethylene to protect your tank from Australians harsh weather conditions.
- Strong one piece construction, with no difficult to
install centre poles required.
- Our tanks are manufactured with thick walls not only for strength, but to prevent the growth of algae. With walls thicker than 4mm preventing light and therefore the source for algae growth. All our tanks are fitted with strainer covers to prevent light entering from the top as well.

SLIMLINE FEATURES
The Tamworth Polytank Slimline has many advantages.
- A slimline that is modular or plumbed together is a lot stronger than a one piece
Slimline. The pressure is evenly distributed in a cylindrical manner because the tank is round, whereas a one piece slimline can bulge in the middle or stress around the fittings after a prolonged
period of constant pressure.
- Most people use a slimline as one large water bank, as ours can be used – but you can also have separate water supplies for different purposes. Dad might want one tank for his work shop, mum might want hers for cooking and the kids might want theirs for the dog or fish tank. This can simply be achieved by having ball valves fitted at the bottom between each tank to keep the water supplies separated.
- You may purchase a 1500 litre slimline and think that its plenty of water, only to
realise you are using more than you think and would like more capacity – no problem - just purchase another one or two and have them added – they don’t get any wider the more tanks you add on because they are all the same size, whereas one piece slimlines can get quite wide the larger they get.
- Better value. One of the best features is that a plumbed slimline such as ours is a lot cheaper than a one piece
slimline.
